Bariatric Surgery Options

We use various bariatric surgery options. Our team will help a person determine the surgery that fits their needs and lifestyle. We want to help a person transform their life. Bariatric surgery is not a quick fix, and a patient in Bellevue needs to make significant changes to their life and choices before and after a procedure.

Duodenal Switch

The duodenal switch is designed to treat a person with severe obesity and looking to lose 150-200 pounds. This advanced procedure combines a sleeve gastrectomy with an intestinal bypass. The duodenal switch is one of the most complex surgeries but is also highly regarded as the most effective bariatric surgery for extreme weight loss. It is especially effective for a patient with Type 2 diabetes. When a person takes good care of themself following surgery with a healthy diet and active lifestyle, the DuoDenal Switch can keep the weight off for many years.
